One thing I'd like to mention is that there always seem to be advances in Cosplay construction, and for the past few years, designs in the use of worbla and foam have been getting fairly sophisticated in all areas - armor, weapons, wearable creatures such as dinosaurs... the whole lot.
I've now noticed a big advance on another theme: LED lighting.
