Anime conventions are synonymous with Cosplay, and Anime NYC didn't disappoint on that front. A whole evening was dedicated to cosplayers, but not only were they showing off their costumes, there was singing, dancing, roleplay and contests galore!

First there were performances by guys and gals who had more to show than their tailoring and crafting skills. Moderated by the guy in the nice suit, the show started (as shown in the following photo slideshow):
