VIZ Media Premieres New Sailor Moon Episodes Tonight On Neon Alley

VIZ Media has previewed an extensive selection of hot new anime content from a wide assortment of best-loved series that are scheduled to premiere on the company’s Neon Alley media streaming platform throughout the month of September.
 
Of keen interest to legions of fans is the availability of classic SAILOR MOON episodes that are presented as VIZ Media exclusives and available in the U.S. via Neon Alley, Hulu and Hulu Plus. English dubbed episodes 1-4 – featuring the brand new English cast – will be available to stream beginning Friday, September 5th at 8:00pm (PDT), and episodes 5-23 will debut 12:00am (PDT) September 7th, 2014. English dubbed episodes will be available for a limited time only. Classic SAILOR MOON Episodes 1-34 (in Japanese with English subtitles) are available now, with 2 new episodes debuting each Monday. Fans of the new SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL will not want to miss the Neon Alley simulcast premiere of 2 new subtitled installments from the rebooted fantasy/action series – Episodes 5 and 6 – that will become available beginning September 5th and 19th respectively. Based on the legendary manga series, SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL (rated ‘TV-PG’), retells the story of Sailor Moon as she searches for her fellow Sailor Guardians and the Legendary Silver Crystal to stop the dark forces of Queen Beryl.

The original smash hit SAILOR MOON anime series was inspired by the bestselling manga series created by Naoko Takeuchi (published in North America by Kodansha). In the series, Usagi Tsukino is a clumsy but kindhearted teenage girl who transforms into the powerful guardian of love and justice, Sailor Moon. Meeting allies along the way who share similar fates, Usagi and her team of planetary Sailor Guardians fight to protect the universe from forces of evil and total annihilation!

Sailor Moon Day At Otakon 2014

VIZ Media will celebrate the return of SAILOR MOON to North America with a variety of special attractions beginning with a SAILOR MOON Stamp Rally. Strange things have been happening and Sailor Moon needs your help! Come by the VIZ Media booth during OTAKON to get a stamp card and mission details from the Sailor Guardians. Collect planetary symbol stamps from around the convention and return the completed card to the VIZ Media booth to get an exclusive premiere event coin.
