Dragonball: Battle Of The Gods Details

Probably the most anticipated anime movie for next year. Dragonball: Battle Of The Gods is slated for released on March 30th 2012. Recently Toei Animation leaked a screenshot and some details of the story. I'm very excited for this film since Dragonball is in my top five anime's of all time.

Story Details - The story takes place several years after the titanic battle with Majin Buu, that determined the fate of the entire universe. Bils, the God of Destruction who maintains the balance of the universe, awakens from a long slumber! Hearing rumors that a Saiyan defeated Freeza, Bils tracks down Goku. Goku is so ecstatic that a tough enemy has appeared after such a long time, he ignores Kaiō’s advice and fights Bils, but cannot do a thing against his overwhelming power and is defeated. Bils leaves, but his eerie remark of “Is there nobody on Earth more worthy to destroy…?” lingers on… Can Goku and co. really stop the God of Destruction?!

Rumor: Darkseid To Be The Villain In Justice League Movie

Boy! I tell ya the Justice League rumors do not stop. The latest rumor is a big one and if it turns out to be true, fans will be cheering or sobbing. According to Latino-Review (http://latino-review.com/2012/12/03/exclusive-bad-guy-justice-league/) Darkseid will be the villain for the J.L. movie. Of course this purely just a rumor, since the movie has no director, no cast and not even a finish script. However if down the line we do find out that Darkseid is the villain then I' am with the sobbing side. Mainly because of a villain of Darkseid's stature should be used in a second movie. I'm pretty sure the Justice League can battle the Legion Of Doom (Injustice League) first and then have Darkseid later. Either way I feel there should be a build up to Darkseid, and he shouldn't just appear like hey I'm here to destroy. Lucky for me this is just a rumor. What do you think?

Mortal Kombat Legacy Season 2 Debuts in 2013

A second season of the hit live-action web series "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" is currently in production in Los Angeles and will debut worldwide in Q2 2013 exclusively on Machinima, the number one entertainment network on YouTube. Based on the best-selling “Mortal Kombat” videogame franchise, Kevin Tancharoen (“Mortal Kombat: Legacy”) returns to direct and co-write "Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2" alongside writers Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson (“Dead Loss”).

The first season of "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" was one of the most-viewed web series of 2011 with more than 60 million views to date on Machinima. In the second season the saga continues as Liu Kang and Ermac join the ranks of fighters introduced in the first season of the web series including Kenshi, Kung Lao, Kuai Lang, Stryker, Kitana, Mileena, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Sub Zero. This new season will uncover the rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. The epic battle for Earthrealm has finally begun! "Fans are in for a real treat with the second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy," said Tancharoen. "With added visual effects and storylines that dive deeper into our warriors as they make their way to the tournament, we’re taking this series to a whole new level. I'm really looking forward to showing fans the first clip during the Streamy Awards on February 17. "

"Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2" features stars from television and film - many of whom have real-world martial arts experience. The cast includes Harry Shum, Jr. ("Glee") as the warlord adviser "Kuai Liang," Casper Van Dien ("Starship Troopers") as martial arts film actor "Johnny Cage," Brian Tee ("The Wolverine") as Shaolin Monk "Liu Kang," Mark Dacascos ("Cradle 2 the Grave ") as "Kung Lao" - a close friend of "Liu Kang," Ian Anthony Dale (“Hawaii Five-O”) returns as the resurrected ninja “Scorpion,” and reprising his role he made famous in the "Mortal Kombat" theatrical release - Cary Tagawa as the powerful, arrogant sorcerer "Shang Tsung." “Machinima and our audience have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this series, and I’m thrilled to announce that Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2 will return to its original home on Machinima,” said Allen DeBevoise, Chairman, Co-Founder, and CEO of Machinima. “We have become a destination for episodic narrative series thanks in part to the first season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy, and we look forward to breaking new ground with this much anticipated new season.”

Dragonball Absalon Episode 1 (Fan Made)

Dragonball Absalon is a fan made series of our favorite Dragonball Universe. I have seen many fan made films but this one is impressive to say the least. The voice acting is very close to the original voice actors and the animation is good as well. Five Underrated Anime Villains

A hero is nothing without a good antagonist. Without the villain the hero quest won't have true meaning or any type of conflict. Today I wanted to give praise to five anime villains that I feel are underrated. These villains have left a mark on the protagonist and has very memorable moments. Leave your choices in the comment section.

King Hamdo (Now & Then, Here & There)

When your villain kidnaps kids, puts them in slavery and even has them killing each other for the sake of your own goal, you're not a villain to mess with. King Hamdo is a paranoid schizo with one goal in mind and that is power. He will sacrifice anyone and everything to achieve his goal, not even animals were safe from his wrath. He's the central reason why the anime "Now & Then, Here & There" was so powerful and heartbreaking.  He was truly bone chilling at times, especially when he was around Lala Ru.

Tetsuo (Akira)

In "Akira" Tetsuo played the antagonist to the protagonist of Kaneda. Tetsuo was very power driven and once he discover his gifts he stop at nothing to find the truth behind Akira. He even destroy the military tons of civilians and even his closest friends.

Mr. Me-Mania (Perfect Blue)

Mr. Me-Mania is one hell of a villain. What made him so great is that he didn't talk much, but his actions spoke very clearly. He was obsessed with pop idol Mima and nothing was going to stand in his way of having her, not even Mima himself. He killed many and anybody who thought about bringing harm to his precious Mima and his final scene was bone chilling to say the least.

Johan Liebert (Monster)

Johan is a complete psychopath, a manipulator and he's damn scary. He is purely deserving of the title monster. He kills without any thought, he loves human suffering and thrives on fear. He's usually overlooked as top anime villains, but this is one character I don't want anyone to cross paths with. What makes him even more scary he's a mystery.

Char Aznable

I love Char Aznable he was a really cool villain. He's not as crazy or sadistic as the others, but he's a villain with charm. You can't help but like him, even though his actions sometimes are questionable. He's a military man and does what he feels is right, he is one of the most underrated antagonist in the Gundam world, even though he was one of the first.
