DOMUS ABSCONDITA, a horror and mystery adventure game by Elmeryn Studios, offers a chilling glimpse into its gameplay. You step into the shoes of a private investigator exploring a mysterious, eerie manor to uncover the truth behind disturbing events and disappearances. The demo showcases the game's focus on exploration, puzzle-solving, and atmospheric tension, giving players a taste of the haunted halls and hidden secrets they can expect in the full game.

The gameplay is straightforward. You go through various rooms in the manor and try to piece together what’s going on. You get a few jump scares that honestly caught me off guard but there were some bugs I’ve encountered and graphically clipping at the time. I’m not sure if it was an isolated incident but it wasn’t game breaking. The game doesn’t hold your hand and for the most part, there will be times where you will have to figure out where to go and what piece goes where. Graphics are pretty good especially the lighting which adds tension and creates a sense of dread. The dark areas and hearing the sound in my headphones really add to the anxiety of wondering what is going to pop out. Overall DOMUS ABSCONDITA is a fun time from what I played but still needs some work.
