Tribeca Festival Immersive Program 2024 x Mercer Labs

From June 6 - 17, Tribeca Festival's 2024 Immersive program offers a collection of visual and sonic artworks, curated for the unique architecture of Mercer Labs Museum of Art & Technology – an experimental institution transforming the museum experience.

Combining the realms of art and technology, this museum offers a dynamic and thought-provoking experience for visitors of all backgrounds. Upon entering Mercer Labs, visitors are immediately place in a room with a a couch that is shape in a circle. Once everyone is seated we are then given sometime to put on our feet to cover our shoes. The rules are then explained to us. You must wear the shoe cover at all times. You can’t backtrack to a previous room however you’re allow to stay in a room as long as you want.

Tribeca Festival Immersive offered a variety such as Framerate: Rhythm Around Us. Created from thousands of daily 3D time-lapse scans of landscapes and cityscapes, Rhythms Around Us observes change on a scale impossible to see with the lens of traditional cameras or with the naked eye.
