New Batman Arkham Knight Story Content – Batgirl: A Matter of Family – Available Beginning July 14

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced the first story driven add-on for Batman™: Arkham Knight – Batgirl: A Matter of Family. Set prior to the events of Batman™: Arkham Asylum, Batgirl: A Matter of Family will allow players to take on the role of Batgirl for the first time in theBatman: Arkham franchise. This exciting story add-on features an all-new location with multiple missions, side quests and secrets; a new hacking feature to progress through the world and solve puzzles; and Dual Play functionality with Robin for dynamic take-down maneuvers. Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be available July 14 for fans who have purchased theBatman: Arkham Knight Season Pass and are connected to the Internet, or it can be purchased separately on July 21 for $6.99 MSRP on the PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE online entertainment network from Microsoft.

The Batgirl: A Matter of Family add-on content was developed by WB Games Montréal and was created using the Batman: Arkham Knight engine built by Rocksteady Studios.  The remaining Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass add-on content is under development by Rocksteady Studios. 

The Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass includes an exclusive Flashpoint Batman Skin, which is available now, and delivers regular new content for six months featuring new story missions, more Super-Villains invading Gotham City, new legendary Batmobiles, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.

 

New Arkham Knight Gameplay Footage

Arkham Knight has been delayed until June 23, 2015. Rocksteady's game director Sefton Hill issued this statement to fans.

Batman: Arkham Knight will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015. We're a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it's going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Batman: Arkham Knight – Batmobile Battle Mode Revealed

Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment are unveiling the first footage of the highly anticipated Batmobile from Rocksteady Studios’ Batman™: Arkham Knight as it transitions into “Battle Mode.” The teaser highlights the Batmobile’s versatility as it morphs into a full combat ready machine. In other news Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed to 2015 this is good news as it will assure the game goes out with a bang.

Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Batman™: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios’ conclusion to the series of award-winning, best-selling titles Batman™: Arkham Asylum and Batman™: Arkham City. Batman: Arkham Knight is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and will be available exclusively for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC. The game is scheduled for release worldwide in 2014.
