Which Tenchi Muyo Girl Is The Best For Tenchi?

I was watching Tenchi Muyo anime series and movies over recently. One thing I love about the show that made it great were the female characters. Most of the women th

at lived with Tenchi try to win his heart. These women go to great lengths for Tenchi's affection in hilarious ways. After watching Tenchi Muyo OVA, Tenchi In Tokyo and the first three Tenchi movies. I have decided on my choice on who I think is the best girl for Tenchi. Before I reveal my choice for which girl is best for Tenchi. Ryoko Hakubi

Ryoko is a semi-reformed space pirate who is madly in love with Tenchi Masaki, the main protagonist. She is always shown to have a very competitive relationship with Princess Ayeka, who also has a very strong romantic interest in Tenchi. Ryoko has differing abilities between the different continuities (the OVA, Tenchi Universe and so on), but her aggressive, emotional personality tends to remain the same.

Ayeka Masaki Jurai

While details of her character differ between the various series, Ayeka is typically shown as the beautiful first princess of the planet Jurai who has fallen in love with the title character, Tenchi Masaki. Ayeka is portrayed as being modest, well mannered, traditional, and aristocratic, but can also be snobbish (her proper accent is evidence of her aristocratic upbringing). She can also be very fierce when she feels that anyone or anything she cares for is in danger, such as Tenchi or her younger sister Sasami, of whom she is very protective. Ayeka is a rival of Ryoko for Tenchi's affections. Often the conflict between the two comes out of their decidedly different personalities and backgrounds, with Ryoko being more blunt, open and sexual in her attempts to gain Tenchi's love.

Mihoshi Kuramitsu

Mihoshi is known as one of the finest officers in the Galaxy Police, but her career soon hit a major roadblock after an incident hinted at in the 4th episode of the 1st OVA, and the 4th episode of the 3rd one (it has been alluded that the incident involved an arranged marriage, which would factor in Misao's attack later in the series). Now she suffers from frequent difficulties to focus on a single thought track and, due to her clumsiness, she causes a lot of collateral damage during her assignments, which eventually causes Mihoshi to be demoted. The desk of the Section 7 commander is covered with misconduct reports and bills from all the damages she causes. As a result, she is assigned to a special area of the galaxy, the Sol system, which is Juraian territory, in the vain hope that she wouldn't cause any more trouble. 

Washu Hakubi

The self-proclaimed greatest scientific genius in the universe, is a fictional character in the anime and manga Tenchi Muyo!. Her character differs depending on the continuity, though she sometimes displays a number of innate powers which she rarely uses, preferring to solve problems with reason or technology. In all incarnations, Washu has also shown to be somewhat prudent and is generally trickier to fool than Tenchi or the other girls, which makes it harder for her to fall into an enemy trap. In all three Tenchi series Washu had also created an inter-dimensional laboratory in the closet of the Masaki house, although her laboratory is a lot bigger in the OVA series than in both of the TV series.

To me the best woman for Tenchi is Ryoko. Ryoko throughout the whole series give me the impression she truly loves Tenchi. Ryoko was willing to sacrifice everything for Tenchi, even her own life at times to make sure Tenchi was alright. Ryoko is the only female to have an entire episode to establish the relationship with Tenchi in the first episode. She might appear obsessive at times like the other girls, but I think she is doing it for a genuine love for Tenchi. While many might suggest Ayeka is the best choice for Tenchi. I found Ayeka to be too needy, a little bit controlling and doesn't have the chemistry with Tenchi. Let's also add to the fact technically they're related. It will be best to look outside the family for love Tenchi. When it comes to Mihoshi and Washu they're more like sisters to Tenchi from my perspective. Mihoshi is a little too simple minded, while I love Washu she gives off a motherly vibe to Tenchi. Other girls such as Sasami and Kiyone are too young or too career driven for Tenchi. The best choice is Ryoko thanks to chemistry, actually love for Tenchi and she can handle everything thrown at her.
