Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #40 (Comic Review)
/The heroes on the half shell, are back in all new issue for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #40. The battle has finally become with the Turtles and their mutant allies vs Bebop and Rocksteady. This issue is action packed and most of it is action more than story. It's a refreshing to see an issue focus heavy on the action. I like how the issue shows how much of a threat Bebop and Rocksteady really are. While other interpretation had the turtles dispose of the baddies easily. This take on the characters make Bebop and Rocksteady just as lethal as Shredder. While the story takes a little of a back-burner, the focus on relationships and development take it's a place. Casey and April's Father relationship grows more deeper in this issue, as a Father and Son bond is form as they make repairs around the house. Raph's and Alopex relationship begins to blossom. To see Raph having some type of love interest is great to see, it shows maturity in Raph's development. Overall this was an action pack issue it does move the story a long a bit but not too much. However the ending of the issue will have you waiting for the next issue. What are you doing Donny?
