Lenni Reviews: Naruto vol 67 by Nasashi Kishimoto
/I have a horrible confession to make. I, Lenni, being of unsound mind and otaku body, have never read Naruto. Ever. So, it is while dodging thrown Pocky and rice balls (because who throws rotten tomatoes anymore?) that I dive in and attempt to review this manga.
Obito has absorbed Ten Tails and has transformed into the ultimate Junchuriki. Naruto and Sasuke will have to combine their powers in order to defeat him.
While I have never read this series, I am vaguely aware of the characters so at the 67th volume, I can see the kids from the beginning have grown and the art is on par with what fans will have come to expect from this series. The entire volume is action packed from the first page to the last; with the battle to continue into the next volume. You really have to forgive my lack of insight to the characters here but even without someone in the book saying Naruto has really grown, I can see it.
As it is unlikely I will go back and read the previous 66 volumes to compare (because I have precious little time), judging this volume on its own it's a great read; a thrilling chapter to an epic story.
