BLEEDING COOL FAN AWARD NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR 2012
Bleeding Cool, the premiere source for breaking news and gossip in the comic book industry (www.bleedingcool.com), announced today the nominees for the second annual Bleeding Cool Fan Awards, to be voted on by the website’s extensive fan community and awarded during the Phoenix Comicon in two weeks.  Selected by site founder Rich Johnston and a committee of industry professionals, the nominees for the twenty award categories reflect the website’s most trending topics spanning the first half of 2012, a mixture of topics that range from the industry-shaping to the most controversial and sensational.
Voting is open to the public.  To cast a vote, comic fans are encouraged to visit the following website:
Each voter can cast their ballot twice, once each over two different methods. The website allows viewers to select their preferred nominee individually, and also contains a separate link for those viewers to log onto Twitter as a second opportunity to vote.  The deadline for voting will be Tuesday, May 22nd.  Winners will be awarded at Phoenix Comicon on Friday, May 25th, at 6:00pm in the convention hall’s Room 132BC.
