Review: I have to say the book was a good read. For those Zombie enthusiasts out there, you will really love the Left 4 Dead story. I’m not into the Portal or Team Fortress games, so I wasn’t into those stories as much, but they were entertaining enough to keep me reading till the end. Overall this book is a good pick for your collection.

Review: Ok I’m not really into the mystical world of magic or teen vampire books, but I am into hot chicks in schoolgirl outfits (laughs) just kidding! House of night changed that for me. With a good first issue story and well-drawn art, this is definitely a title to look for.
ORCHID #1 (SHEPARD FAIREY VARIANT COVER)
Writer: Tom Morello
Artist: Scott Hepburn
Colorist: Dan Jackson
Cover Artist: Shepard Fairey
Genre: Action/Adventure
Publication Date: October 12, 2011
From the mind of musician Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, The Nightwatchman) with art by Scott Hepburn (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic), Orchid is the tale of a teenage prostitute who learns that she is more than the role society has imposed upon her.
When the seas rose, genetic codes were smashed. Human settlements are ringed by a dense wilderness from which ferocious new animal species prey on the helpless. The high ground belongs to the rich and powerful that overlook swampland shantytowns from their fortress-like cities. Iron-fisted rule ensures order and allows the wealthy to harvest the poor as slaves. Welcome to the world of Orchid.
* Featuring a variant cover by the best-known and influential street artist Shepard Fairey!
