What's the difference aside from price and a similar sounding model name?

There's a clear winner here because one of them will vice-clamp your head and result in a headache while the other does not. That or my head is too big. The comfy, non-headache one also blocks noise a lot better too. So personally, I'd opt for the Stealth 700 Gen 3.

Interestingly, audio quality wasn't a deciding factor; they both sound great!

It's worth noting netizen complaints about hollow sounding audio. This is true when in Superhuman Hearing mode (used for gaming to hear footsteps, arrow thwoks and explosions.)

Can't say I blame these folks because it's way too easy to turn on by mistake. For whatever reason, Turtle Beach decided to use the freakin power button as the toggle!

So tap that power button and switch to normal when listening to music or movies.

Although double the cost, the 700G3 gives you a way to switch immediately between 2 dongles at a press of a button. Super convenient if you game on more than 1 console/PC; there's no need to keep unplugging/swapping dongles.

The Stealth 600G3 is a fine headset functionally, but between the two models, the unseen extras of the 700G3 hands-down have me convinced, especially for noise isolation and comfort. I hardly hear the humming from my fridge or the hissing of my apt heater, and I can game binge for hours without getting too fatigued (or head-clamped!)

It's got my vote and is definitely worth checking out!
