It’s Kotobukiya’s take on a re-imagined X-Men character; a version of a 90’s Rogue who’s evolution allows her to absorb and control multiple mutant abilities at the same time. Here, she’s borrowed Wolverine’s bone claws, Iceman’s ice-making and Gambit’s explosive energies.

Rogue is in a standing pose displaying her bone claws (pointed upwards) on her right fist as a show of power - or as a warning to the enemy. Her left hand crosses under her ample bosom, grasping her right arm above the elbow. She wears her skin-tight yellow and green uniform with knee-high, heeled boots, both of which have highly detailed cloth texture. She’s also wearing a brown mini-leather jacket with belt to match, and a green headband that holds her flowing hair.

The statue is sculpted in 1/7 scale (approximately 9.06" or 230mm tall) and is part of Kotobukiya’s Marvel Bishoujo series. She stands on an icy base plate she created herself (with Iceman’s powers), and has playing cards scattered in front of her for when she needs to use Gambit’s abilities.

I gotta say, this statue has exceptional texture when it comes to the clothing. While I know it’s made of plastic, my mind is saying “how is this not real cloth and leather?”

The artwork is created by Shunya Yamashita and sculpted by Takaboku Busujima (BUSUJIMAX).
