Kabam’s King Arthur: Legends Rise Hands On Preview

I had the pleasure of getting an hands on preview of King Arthur: Legends Rise. I check this game out on my mobile phone and I’m happy to report that I had a really fun time with this game. This a turn based RPG game that really feels like it could easily could have been on classic portable systems such as PSP, Nintendo 3DS just to name a few. A brief background of the game.
King Arthur Legends Rise brings to life a reimagined Arthurian story and characters through 3D detail and visual fidelity like never before on mobile and PC, including PvE gameplay powered by Unreal Engine 5. Players take control of a young Arthur who has entered a dark pact with the dragon trapped within Excalibur to gain the power he needs to save Camelot. Arthur now faces his homeland of Camelot under threat from the forces of King Lot, the usurper who seeks to use the power of dark gods to gain absolute power over Britain and beyond. Mobile and PC gamers will need to assemble a team of mighty heroes to assist Arthur in facing Lot and other dark forces, mythical creatures, and more to fulfill his destiny and rebuild his kingdom of Camelot.
The story and characters were really engaging with bringing in a lot of character from King Arthur’s lore and some of have a bit of a spin to it which I won’t spoil. I surprised the game actually had some voice acting that really made me feel more immerse with the world. The gameplay returns RPG back to it’s turn based roots which I will say it was fun but challenging at time. I had to make sure to grind a bit and make sure I level up to match my enemies level. The game also offers a stellar customization feature to enhance your weapons and abilities by collecting relics which allows you to give some powerful attacks.
