One of the most beloved and game-changing superhero shows of all time Smallville is the blueprint for such shows as Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, and many others. Now the complete series is available on Blu-ray for you to enjoy. Smallville was such an amazing show and its 218 episode run was a complete arc of one of the most beloved superheroes of all time Superman. In Smallville, we get to see Clark Kent in his humble beginnings growing up in the town of Smallville Kansas, we get introduced to iconic Superman characters such as Lex Luthor, Lana Lang, Lois Lane. Jimmy Olsen and a variety of other characters such as Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent as well. To this day Smallville has one of the most recognizable casts in superhero TV show actors such as Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, and much more. The actors brought energy in a very accurate but at the same time different interpretation of some of DC’s iconic characters. While the action might not hold up in today's Arrowverse standards for a younger audience. Smallville can still be picked up by a new audience who will see what gave birth to the DC televisions boom. What makes Smallville such an important piece of the superhero television medium, is that it not only showed how a superhero show can last over five seasons, but it also showed how DC can also translate their properties into TV. Smallville was one of the first superhero TV shows to actually build upon a universe that unfortunately didn't take off with spin-offs such as Aquaman. Smallville is a total of 10 seasons with 218 episodes. The show has its highs and the show has its lows but nobody can't deny the legacy, the impact, on the road it paved for future DC live-action television shows.

This is an amazing documentary I recommend everyone to check out. The documentary shows the golden age of comics, the silver age, and touches on the era of the 80s of DC Comics. We see the beginnings of Batman and Superman, the Justice League, Green Lantern, and many more featuring interviews from some of DC's biggest celebrity fans and comic industry pros, and of course the people behind the characters. You also get the rare 2006 Aquaman and the 1961 Adventures of Superboy pilots which never made it to a season order. As far as the Aquaman pilot goes, let's just be happy Zack Snyder and James Wan did Aquaman justice. There's also Comic-Con footage a celebration of 100 episode milestone interviews PaleyFest 2004 events.
