Monster Musume Everyday Life With Monster Girls Episode 1 Review

When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a "volunteer" into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life. Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what's a full-blooded teenage human with raging hormones to do?

Monster Musume Everyday Life With Monster Girls is actually an adult anime, with adult themes. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's hentai. It's definitely not that. However the situations, jokes and animation is aimed for a more mature audience. This is an anime romantic comedy that falls into the harem category. Our protagonist Kurusu Kimihito has been put in a situation where he has to host an alien creature name Miia. Miia is the typical alien anime girl format. Big breast check, naive and simple minded check, in love with Kurusu but he is unable to do anything check. As typical as this formula is on the show. It's actually pretty entertaining. Kurusu is a likable character who I grew to like during the episode. He is a guy put in a very awkward situation and has to adjust to it. He's living a with a girl who loves him and wants to express that love. Unfortunately by law he is not allowed to have any sexual or romantic contact with her. This is a nice take on the usual formula mainly because Kurusu does have feelings but can't act on them by law. I'm curious to see where this is going to take the characters. There is good chemisty between the characters and the show has it's funny moments. If you can look pass the cliche of alien girl and human boy love. You will find a pretty fun, entertaining anime show. However the opening scene might turn people off with it's sexual antics, but I found it funny. Overall Monster Musume Everday Life With Monster Girls is up to a fair start. Check it out.
